Sunday 20 March
Following the great success of the first edition of The Dressing Room, when it drew over 1200 visitors, another edition is planned for Sunday 20 March. As well as over 40 stallholders displaying treasures from their wardrobes, this vide-dressing for men and women will also have two new features to spice up your shopping: a Beauty area when you can relax and pamper yourself and a brunch concocted by the city-centre restaurant Jour de Fête.
The Dressing Room is an event presented by the non-profit Brussels Vintage Market, which has been specialising in organising vintage events in partnership with visit.brussels for the last 5 years. All the goods on sale will be second-hand, stylish and in good condition, with some name brand items on offer too. Quite apart from environmental concerns, buying second-hand is bang on trend and offers you the chance to uncover a rare treasure while saving money.
The Jour de Fête restaurant will make your mouth water
In a bright and cosy space, The Dressing Room will also offer a gourmet brunch. For this second edition, the «Jour de Fête» restaurant will be offering its creative cuisine, featuring healthy, seasonal, local produce, with sweet and salty delights available throughout the day.
Time to relax in The Beauty Corner
To round off your shopping expedition, what could be better than a few moments of relaxation? The Beauty Corner strives for conscious beauty and treatments that respect your body and nature. Different possibilities will be offered throughout the day: nail polish application, hairdressing, make-up, manicures at affordable prices, with and without an appointment.
An event for everyone, by everyone
The event will take place in the BIP’s lovely banking hall, just a stone’s throw from the Parc de Bruxelles. The Dressing Room is intended for all those who want to give their wardrobe a makeover in a responsible, original way, and enjoy an enjoyable afternoon out filled with great finds and bargains. And men too, whether they are addicted to fashion or not, will be able to find just what they are looking for.
