CBItalia is warming up its engine and launches a preview of the latest developments in the most awaited MICE event of the year.
9th October 2019, Florence – We are drawing ever closer to the date of the CBItalia happening that is Italy at Hand – The Event which will take place in Rome from 7th till 9th November 2019. After the success of the first edition held in Bologna in 2018, CBItalia is again ready to give its best. In the course of the 3 days which will be filled with appointments and interactive activities, we will also be discovering Rome.
35 Italian companies and 45 international buyers will be protagonists of the most interactive MICE event ever: Italy at Hand, in fact, will give them the possibility of meeting up in outstanding settings with more than 1000 appointments guaranteed with major representatives of the sector and networking in an innovative way.
The highlights of Italy at Hand
Thursday 7th November
Opening night at Palazzo Colonna will officially launch Italy at Hand – The Event. This prestigious setting is exceptionally at the disposal of our guests. The evening will be continue at the Galleria del Cardinale where the CBItalia team will amaze the participants with a special representation. During dinner, the Italian suppliers and international buyers will have the opportunity to network through an innovative framework. There will also be entertainment by top-flight artists.
Friday 8th November
The morning will be dedicated to pre-arranged business appointments at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Renzo Piano’s creation. This exclusive venue will also host the Closing Ceremony programmed for Saturday 9th November. The afternoon will be given over to formation and amusement in perfect Italian style: each participant will take part in interactive proceedings divided into 4 workgroups. Each activity will be related to a keyword from Italy at Hand and a universal symbol of Italianness: for this edition, in particular, the participants will discover the meaning of art, innovation, love and rituality in perfect “at hand” mode.
This will entail a full immersion in Italian excellences characterized by discoveries and experimentations: occasions not to be missed by the participants who will be guided by experts in the field, in original and fundamental contexts of Italian culture.
8th November will end in style with the Gala Dinner at La Nuvola – Roma Convention Centre (by the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas). Guest speakers will be numerous and will include MICE and institutional figures: the special guest who has been reconfirmed will be Ray Bloom, founder, and president of Imex Group. He will present the award Best Handshaker to the three buyers who have been judged the most enterprising in networking initiatives during Opening Night. Some remarkable performances will highlight the evening offering many moments of wonder and entertainment.
Saturday 9th November
Business is the morning’s main menu with the participants at the Auditorium Parco della Musica; after which will be the Closing Ceremony of the Event with an enchanting performance from Stefania Bruno, the award-winning Italian sand artist. On this occasion, a preview of the Host Destination of the 2020 Edition of Italy at Hand – The Event will be revealed.
